Penny PritzkerPenny Pritzker is the founder and formerly Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of PSP Capital Partners and its affiliate, Pritzker Realty Group. Currently serving as the United States Secretary of Commerce, Ms. Pritzker has been an entrepreneur, civic leader and philanthropist, with more than twenty-five years of experience as a business executive in numerous industries. Ms. Pritzker resigned from all of her offices and positions with PSP Capital Partners and its affiliates, including Pritzker Realty Group on June 27, 2013 and has no current role in the management or affairs of PSP Capital Partners or its affiliates, including Pritzker Realty Group. Ms. Pritzker is also co-founder and former chairman of Artemis Real Estate Partners and The Parking Spot. Ms. Pritzker previously served on the board of Hyatt Hotels Corporation, is the former chairman of the board of TransUnion and is a past board member of each of the Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company, Marmon Group and LaSalle Bank Corporation. In addition, she is the founder and former chairman of Vi Senior Living (formerly Classic Residence by Hyatt). Ms. Pritzker also sat on the board of the Council on Foreign Relations, the board of trustees of Stanford University and The Economic Club of Chicago. She is a former chairman of the board of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago and former member of the President's Council on Jobs and Competitiveness, the President’s Economic Recovery Advisory Board, and the Harvard University Board of Overseers. Ms. Pritzker earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Harvard University and a Juris Doctor and Masters of Business Administration from Stanford University.
